Not really. Our boats are daysailers and short-term cruisers for protected waters. While we have had a lot of fun sailing offshore, and builders have sailed these boats on long cruises several hundred miles (one Pocket Cruiser went 500 miles up the coast of Australia!), we designed these boats for lighter duty. Most people just want to be able to go for an extended weekend; sort of like car-camping with a boat. Our Pocket Yachts are just right for this sort of cruising.
An acquaintance of ours sailed an open fourteen-foot dinghy from Acapulco to Tahiti: To him our boats would seem like very civilised craft indeed! This doesn't make it a good idea to try taking our boats on open-ocean crossings.
